Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Bug-Zap’s website, application, and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Bug-Zap provides tools to define, run, and review automated tests for your own applications, including browser and API testing, evidence capture, and integrations with AI assistants over MCP. You are responsible for the tests you create and the systems you choose to test.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Test or access systems you do not own or lack authorization to test.
• Circumvent security measures, CAPTCHAs, or anti-abuse protections of any third party.
• Conduct denial-of-service, load attacks, or other abusive or destructive activity.
• Violate any law or infringe the rights of others.
• Store or process real customer data where dedicated test data should be used.

You are solely responsible for obtaining authorization to test any target environment and for complying with the terms of the services you test.

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment provider.
• Plans include the usage allowances described at checkout; cloud usage beyond included allowances is blocked or requires explicit paid consent.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We may change pricing with prior notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods.

You retain ownership of the projects, test definitions, and data you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit Your Content.

The Service integrates with third parties such as AI assistants, payment processors, and browser automation tooling. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Automated testing reduces but does not eliminate risk; you are responsible for reviewing results and for the quality of your own applications.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bug-Zap will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
