• Project and test data: the projects, test cases, runs, and configuration you create in the Service.
• Evidence artifacts: screenshots, traces, logs, and video captured by test runs you execute, subject to your retention settings.
• Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type, and interactions, used to operate and improve the Service.

• To store and display your test definitions, runs, and evidence.
• To communicate with you about your account, security, and product updates.

Bug-Zap is a testing tool. You control what you test and what evidence is captured. We take steps to redact secrets and sensitive headers from logs, traces, and screenshots, and we honor the retention periods associated with your plan. You are responsible for using dedicated test accounts and synthetic data rather than real customer data in your tests.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g., hosting, payments, email delivery) under contract.
• Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights, property, and safety.
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

We retain account and project data for as long as your account is active. Evidence artifacts are retained according to your plan’s retention window (for example, 7 days, 90 days, or 1 year) and then deleted. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and encrypted storage of secrets. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
